The Battle with Chordoma
Gary Sinise revealed that Mac had been diagnosed with Chordoma on August 8, 2018. Chordoma is an exceptionally rare type of cancer that originates in the spine, affecting only around 300 individuals in the United States each year.
Despite undergoing numerous surgeries and treatments, Mac’s condition deteriorated over time, ultimately leaving him paralyzed from the chest down.
