The same footage was also shared on his Twitter account alongside the caption, “MARCH 3 SUNDAY 2024 we slit RG THROAT AND THRU HIM IN A BASKET NOBODY WILL FIND HIM.”
What Happened to Ryan Garcia?
The cryptic Instagram post left many fans alarmed and searching for answers. Expressing their concerns, one fan on social media pleaded, “Someone please confirm he is ok. They already entered his home and robbed him once.
Please tell me this young guy with hard discipline and faith in God is ok.” Another wrote, “Ryan I’m really praying for you right now cause I feel bad for you.”
A third person expressed uncertainty, stating, “I’m not gonna lie, idk what’s happened to you there, but I hope you’re safe. I remember watching you years ago, you inspired me to not just work hard, but be someone who is close to their family. I do hope whatever you’re going through turns out ok.”
“Someone needs to check on him, and give confirmation he’s okay. Publicity stunts are one thing, this is just disturbing,” another user wrote. While some fans expressed concern, others questioned the authenticity of the post.
“Bro as a fan of yours, this is just a weird way of promoting. I don’t even know if you’re trolling or you’re actually going through some shit this time lmao. This isn’t normal. Just pull out at this point please,” expressed another fan.
As of now, the video has not been taken down from his social media handles, leaving fans anxious about his well-being.
Ryan Garcia Injury Updates
Ryan Garcia has admitted that he was carrying a rib injury when he fought Gervonta Davis last April. The two stars met in a huge contest in Las Vegas which Davis won with a seventh-round stoppage, resulting in a period of reflection for Garcia.
Speaking about the fight on Brian Custer’s Last Stand podcast, Garcia revealed that he picked up a rib injury in sparring which sent him to the hospital. Despite the injury, Garcia decided to proceed with the fight against Davis.
“I did go in the ring with a rib injury, a separated rib from sparring,” Garcia said. “I was dehydrated and it was like one of the first shots of sparring. I didn’t even get hit hard. My rib just [sunk] in and I had to go to the hospital, spent there some time, and I couldn’t even run. I couldn’t do anything. It was about two weeks before the fight.”
“There was nothing that I could do. I decided that I wasn’t gonna pull out. Too much time [had] been put into this and too much things went into making this fight happen. I wasn’t gonna pull out.”
Garcia is set to return to the ring for the first time since that loss to Davis on December 2 when he takes on Oscar Duarte in a super lightweight contest which can be seen live on DAZN.
In conclusion, Ryan Garcia’s recent social media post has left fans concerned about his well-being, while his admission of fighting with a rib injury against Gervonta Davis sheds light on the challenges faced by athletes in their pursuit of greatness. As Garcia prepares for his upcoming bout, fans await eagerly to see him back in action.
