The suspect in this shocking case is Venkata Surya Sai Krishna, a priest at a temple in Saroornagar. Married with a child, Sai Krishna was engaged in an extramarital affair with Apsara. However, their relationship took a sinister turn when Apsara began pressuring Sai Krishna to marry her.
According to police sources, on June 4th, Apsara was lured to Narkuda village on the outskirts of Shamshabad rural under the pretext of visiting a Goshala. It was there that Sai Krishna allegedly attacked her, striking her on the head with a boulder, resulting in her untimely demise.
“On suspicion, when he was interrogated and he confessed to have killed her as she was harassing him to marry her,” police said
To conceal his heinous act, Sai Krishna stuffed Apsara’s lifeless body into a bag and callously dumped it in a manhole near the MRO office in Saroornagar. It was a heart-wrenching end to a troubled relationship fueled by deceit and infidelity.
Following the discovery of Apsara’s body, the missing case swiftly transformed into Apsara Murder Case investigation. The suspect himself inadvertently played a role in his downfall when he approached the RGIA Police station on June 5th, filing a complaint stating that his “niece” had gone missing after being dropped off at the Shamshabad bus stand.
However, further scrutiny of CCTV footage and Call Data Records raised suspicions about Sai Krishna’s involvement. During intense interrogation, he finally confessed to the crime, revealing that he had killed Apsara in a moment of desperation and frustration. Unable to bear the pressure to marry her due to his existing marriage, he resorted to sedating her before delivering a fatal blow to her head.
In a bid to dispose of the evidence, Sai Krishna buried the body in the manhole, carefully covering it with a concrete mixture. His calculated actions only prolonged the investigation, but ultimately justice prevailed, and the truth was unraveled.
This chilling Apsara Murder Case has sent shockwaves through the community, especially within the temple where Sai Krishna served as a priest. The administrators of the Bangaru Maisamma temple in Shamshabad expressed their disbelief, stating that they were unaware of his illicit relationship with Apsara.
The arrest of a religious figure in such a heinous crime has left many questioning the depths of human depravity. The victim’s family, friends, and the community at large are now left grappling with grief and the profound tragedy that unfolded due to an extramarital affair turned deadly.
